HTC is working on a new 'dumb' mobile phone that will feature a new operating system via Qualcomm.
Amongst the slew of new HTC mobile phones that have recently been highlighted on this site is another new design that does not enter into the smartphone category but is intriguing nevertheless. HTC's new 'dumb' phone is to be known as the Touch.B. As we say, it is not a smartphone by any means but is interesting because it will feature a new operating system via Qualcomm - familiar to many for its development of nippy CPUs such as the 1GHz Snapdragon. Known as the BREW, the new OS will be utilised to run low-end platforms.
According to the GSM Arena website, there is little known about the new HTC phone except for the fact that it will include a built in camera, probably of a low specification of just 2-megapixels.
No release date or price has yet been mooted.
