Nokia has released a new version of Ovi Contacts for its Symbian-based mobile phones, but it is only available for those handsets that use the touch version of Symbian and designs that operate on Symbian S60 3rd Edition FPS.
A range of features have been improved for the utility such as file transfer, which allows you to import data such as images. The app has also introduced file compression of up to 60% to help save battery power as well as data – especially if you are on a limited transfer budget.
The user interface has also been improved. The Contacts tab now includes three 'quick buttons' that allow you to add a contact, examine a contact profile or initiate a chat.
You can download the new version of the Ovi Contacts utility here. To access the old client, which is accessible by more devices, just click http://contacts.ovi.com/dist/app.
