After revealing details of its new X6 and E72 phones, Nokia has announced the release of two more new mobiles: a mid-priced model and a budget release that both follow a sliding form factor.
The Nokia 6700 Slide includes a 2.2in screen packing in a QVGA resolution. Based upon Symbian, it offerds fast data transfer capabilities via HSDPA plus Bluetooth 2.1 to connect any wireless accessory such as a headset. A built in camera is included, rated at a good specification of 5-megapixels and a featured microSD card ups the internal memory. A free 2GB card is included.
Expect six colour versions: pink, red, purple, petrol blue, lime and aluminum. The phone's retail price will be €160.
The second phone, the Nokia 7230, includes a 2.4in QVGA screen along with 3G for fast data transfer plus a reasonable 3.2-megapixel camera and, again, a 2GB memory card to boost internal memory.
The Nokia 7230 will be available in two colors, hot pink and graphite, for only €100.
