Motorola is working on another new Android mobile phone, details of which have now been leaked onto the Internet.
The new design is to be known as the Motorla Motus and, like the DEXT, will arrive with Android 1.5 as the standard operating system along with the associated MOTOBLUR interface.
Based upon GSM connectivity, the phone will include a 3.1in touchscreen packing in 320 x 480 pixels. Along with a full QWERTY keypad or, to be more accurate, a reverse flip keyboard with a rear directional pad.
Other features, according to the Android And Me website, include Wi-Fi for connection to the Internet wirelessly, GPS for location finding and Bluetooth 2.0 for connections to wireless accessories such as a headset. Based upon a 528 MHz Qualcomm MSM7201A processor and featuring 512MB of ROM and 256MB of RAM, the new phone design also includes a built in camera featuring a good specification of 5-megapixels plus a LED flash.
Expect a release within the first quarter of 2010.
