O2 has joined Vodafone in making the HTC HD2 available to its customers. Available for free on a range of pay monthly contracts, the HTC HD2 sports a humungous 4.3-inch touch-screen, 1 GHz processor, Wi-Fi, GPS and FM radio. Running on the latest Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system, users will also have access to Windows Marketplace, Microsoft's new online application store. In addition, the phone also packs YouTube, Facebook and Twitter integration, a 3.5mm headset port to plug your own set of cans in, along with Bluetooth and a microUSB charging port. All this and HTC has managed to keep the dimensions down to an impressive 11mm thick and a weight of just 157 grams.
The HTC HD2 is available to O2 customers for free on an 18-month contract at £45 per month from today from O2 stores or via selected telesales.
Vodafone were the first operator to begin selling the device, with T-Mobile set to follow shortly.
