Reports say that the Samsung Corby has been upgraded and released in Korea, packing in 3G connectivity plus a better screen.
The Samsung Corby S3650 has proven popular in Europe. Seen as a basic, yet fully featured, mobile phone offered in a range of bright colours, the Corby has expanded to form a range of phones.
Now that range has just increased in size with the release, in Korea at the moment, of an upgraded model currently known as the Samsung SCH-W900 / SPH-W9000 / SPH-W9050. The new model includes a 3in screen instead of the original 2.8in with a new resolution of WQVGA instead of the original's QVGA. The new version also packs in 3G connectivity plus a Haptic-based user interface, DMB TV and a standard 100MB of internal memory - which doubles the European version, according to the AVing website.
Observers are hoping to see the new version in Europe during the new year - we will keep you informed.
