Samsung has announced that it is about to launch a new Bluetooth headset that is designed to match and stylistically fit in with the Corby range of mobile phones.
The new headset is to be known as the Samsung Corby WEP490 Bluetooth headset and will be made available in a range of four 'dual tone' colours, according to the Samsung Hub website.
The Corby headset will arrive with a status LED indicator to indicate if the unit is working or not, echo cancellation and noise reduction to allow the headset to work more efficiently in open environments such as when walking alongside a stream of busy traffic or in a crowded area. There is also an automatic volume control. The WEP490 can provide a talk time of up to 6 hours, or a stand-by time of up to 180 hours.
Initially available in Russia, the headset will be sold for an equivalent price of £27. No further release details were available.
