Nuance?s T9 Nav arrives at the Ovi store

Nuance's T9 Nav mobile search and discovery application is now available to Nokia users via the Ovi Store. Once downloaded customers can navigate themselves to contacts, games, stored songs and even saved websites from their homescreen by simply typing in the first few corresponding letters, much in the same way you would write a predictive text. For example, to access your games with T9 Nav, users should start typing 4, 2, 6 (i.e. g, a, m). Likewise 3, 2, 2 (i.e. f, a, c) would take you to your Facebook account, while 2, 6, 9 (a, m, y) would bring up any songs by Amy Winehouse you happened to have on your phone.

Nuance claims that T9 Nav saves the average person 67 percent completion time by being able to avoid menu after menu.

T9 Nav is available for all standard 3x4 keyboard Series 60 third edition phones for £4 from the Nokia Ovi Store.
