Nokia has announced that the N900 mobile phone, the company's first to be supported by its new operating system, Maemo 5, is now ready to be launched into the UK market. Nokia has declared that the phone will appear on November 12.
To recap, sporting a powerful ARM Cortex-A8 processor, OpenGL ES 2.0 graphics acceleration and 1GB of application memory means the N900 can perform lots of multitasking, with many apps running simultaneously. The browser is a Mozilla based one with desktop-like powers, including Flash for websites that render just the way they would on the bigger screen.
