LG has announced a new mobile phone that will strongly appeal to golf fans. However, unlike the GW750 and GD510 Pop, the phone remains for consumption in South Korea for now.
The new design, which will be known as the LG SB210, features a 3in touchscreen packing in 240 x 400 pixels but, of more interest to golf fans, maps for 280 golf courses plus other golf-related services, according to the Unwired website.
To include a calorie counter and a compass other, more mainstream features applied to the new phone will include a GPS facility for location finding, a built in camera with a reasonable specification of 3-megapixels, a small internal memory of just 242MB but also a microSD card slot which will increase the memory for various types of media storage. Featuring a 1,000 mAh battery, the SB210, which spans 111 x 55 x 12.3 mm, weighs in at 106g.
Out this month in Korea, it will retail for an equivalent price of £330. There are no distribution details for Europe just yet.
