Motorola has announced a new luxury mobile phone that is packed with both gold and diamonds.
Readers may remember the original luxury handset, the one toted by David Beckham, the Motorola Aura, that was announced last year, along with a video. This new model, the Motorola Aura Diamond Edition, pushes up the price still further.
Packing in 34 diamonds onto the 18 karat gold chassis, 30 of the diamonds are embedded above the phone's circular display, according to the Pocket-lint website.
As far as features are concerned, the Aura provides quad-band GSM / EDGE connectivity and CrystalTalk technology to improve the sound quality of speech, stereo Bluetooth to connect wireless accessories, music and video players, email, a web browser, a basic 2-megapixel camera and 2GB of internal memory.
Price for that lot will be £3,500.
