A number of leaked images have recently appeared on the Internet leading observers to believe that HTC is working on a new design that will not only be supported by Android but powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 1GHz processor - as used by the new Acer Liquid A1 mobile phone.
Believed to be known as the HTC Dragon, the new handset is reported to integrate GSM connectivity and, as you can see by the accompanying pictures, features a large, touchscreen display apparently packing in 480 x 800 pixels. Other additions include a trackball and, visible on the rear, a built in camera which also features a flash.
Little else is known of the new design which promises to be the company's fifth Android phone that includes the Dream, Magic, Hero and Tattoo.
At the moment, there are no price, UK distribution or release details available.
