Following yesterday's announcement of the world's first Android Snapdragon phone, Acer has now unveiled three new smartphones as part of a new range called beTouch. The beTouch E100, E101 and E200 all operate on the latest Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system providing access to a host of applications at the Windows Marketplace, the latest version of Internet Explorer and Windows Live Messenger.
The beTouch E100 and E101 both feature a 3.2-inch touch-screen with the added benefit of a five-way navigation key, as well as onboard GPS and a two-megapixel camera. While the E100 sports HSDPA data speeds, the E101 sports the slower EDGE capabilities, but this is reflected in the price. Both devices are available in black or white with a selection of colourful battery covers to brighten up the handset.
The beTouch E200 has a slightly smaller touch-screen at three-inches, but a more powerful three-megapixel camera with the ability to upload pictures directly to Facebook, Flickr and Blogger.
All three devices are available to buy now.
