Its Storm 9250 phone might have just been announced but Blackberry is not resting in its laurels, as the Blackberry Bold 9700 has just been spotted in Germany - specifically, via the German T-Mobile website. According to the company, the new Bold will be made available in November.
The Bold 9700, which has been talked about under its alias, the Blackberry Onyx, is the successor to the year old design, the Blackberry Bold 9000.
The new design features a full QWERTY keyboard and, situated just above, a display packing in 480 x 360 pixels. Just below the display is an optical trackpad. Other features include HSDPA connectivity for fast data transfer, Wi-Fi for wireless internet, a reasonably specificed camera of 3.2-megapixel camera, a 1500 mAh battery and microSD card slot. In fact, purchasers will receive a 2GB card in the box, according to the Engadget website.
The new Bold spans 109 x 60 x 14mm - the original is slightly larger: 116 x 66 x 14 mm.
