The new design features a full QWERTY keyboard and, situated just above, a display packing in 480 x 360 pixels. Just below the display is an optical trackpad. Other features include HSDPA connectivity for fast data transfer, Wi-Fi for wireless internet, a reasonably specificed camera of 3.2-megapixel camera, a 1500 mAh battery and microSD card slot. In fact, purchasers will receive a 2GB card in the box, according to the Engadget website.

The new Bold spans 109 x 60 x 14mm - the original is slightly larger: 116 x 66 x 14 mm.
