Motorola is working on three new mobile phones and an associated tablet device for release later this month and early next year, following its recent DEXT launch.
The US-based company is initially looking to release the Sholes mobile phone later this month. An Android phone, it will be based upon a 3.7in touchscreen packing in 480 x 854 pixels, HSUPA data facility, 5-megapixel camera with flash and Wi-Fi. An associated Scholes Tablet, to be released during the first quarter of next year, will include an 8-megapixel camera with a Xenon flash, HD video, Wi-Fi and a similarly sized screen, according to the Unwired website.
Two, additional, mobiles are also due for release early next year. The Motus and Zeppelin handsets will include a similar set of specifications: a 3.1in touchscreen with 480 x 320 pixels, HSUPA data transfer facility, Wi-Fi and a 5-megapixel camera each.
