Microsoft's plans for bringing their Marketplace app forum to users who are utilizing both Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.0 and 6.1 operating systems on their mobile phones have reached a new stage with the announcement that they will be implemented in late November or, at the very latest, early December of this year.
The Marketplace is already live - it was officially launched earlier this month but mainly aimed at Mobile 6.5 users. However Phase 2, is a new implementation that will broaden and improve its facilities over the entire Windows OS family by increasing the amount of apps currently available for Windows-based phones, whether they be free or those requiring purchase, according to the Modaco website.
According to Maarten Sonneburg, from Microsoft Netherlands, users will also be able to, "choose applications from other countries because of the geo selector."
Hence, UK users will be able to, "choose from any English-language apps released in other countries for download."
