Fans of the Ferrari brand - and there are many of you out there - will be interested to hear that Motorola, fresh from its DEXT and MOTOBlur announcements - has released a new Ferrari edition of its i9 mobile phone.
Arriving with the Ferrari logo engraved on its case, the phone also arrives with exclusive content including Ferrari wallpapers and screensavers and engine-based ringtones from the Ferrari F40, F50 and Enzo cars.
Other features of the handset include two displays rated at QVGA resolution, illuminated keys, a push-to-talk feature, GPS for location finding, Bluetooth for wireless connections of accessories, a 3.1-megapixel camera and, to boost the nominal internal memory, a microSD slot. In fact, a 2GB memory card arrives in the box on purchase, according to the Unwired website.
The downside of this announcement is that it has occurred in Brazil. That is where it will be sold, at least initially, and there are no details of further releases into other territories at the moment. However, if and when a European release occurs we will keep you informed.
