It's just released its GW750 handset, now leaked information has suggested that LG is aiming to release another new phone, a sequel to its notably recognisable mobile, the LG Lotus, during 2010.
The original LG Lotus had a recognisable design. Based upon a clamshell form factor, the shape of the chassis was square. The Lotus 2 promises to maintain that shape.
The original phone featured Bluetooth for connection to headsets and the like plus WiFi for long range data transfer and a built in camera that offered a rather disappointing 2MP resolution. So, we can expect the new handset to offer at least these specifications. However, the new original also included a maximum internal memory of 12GB, this has now been increased to a wealthy 32GB which will be of interest to anyone looking to store music, images or video on the phone, according to the Phone Arena website.
A release date during early 2010 appears likely. However, no distribution information or a price has yet been mooted
