ZTE, known recently for its Vary Touch and budget solar phone designs, has signed an agreement with 3's parent company, Hutchison Whampoa, to create a range of mobile phones for the UK.
The first phone, the ZTE F102, is now available via 3. The candybar device includes 3G for fast data transfers. It also has a basic two-megapixel camera and Bluetooth to connect accessories, such as headsets, wirelessly. An MP3 player will appeal to music fans and the minimal 128MB of internal memory can be boosted via the inclusion of a microSD card slot.
The handset also allows you to make free Skype to Skype calls and access Windows Live Messenger. It is available now for just £29.99 on a PAYG tariff.
