An image of the much rumoured and pictured HTC Leo mobile phone has made an appearance in O2 UK's new catalogue but under a new guise - the HTC HD2.
The new phone, spotted by the Engadget website, appears not to support the Android operating system after all but, instead, seems to be run by Microsoft's new Windows Mobile 6.5 alternative. The leaked page from the O2 catalogue suggests that the new phone is on the verge of release into the UK market. A likely date will be the 6th October, when many of other Windows Mobile 6.5 handsets are due for a simultaneous launch.
Featuring a large, 4.3in screen, handling a WVGA resolution, the new HD2 is reported to include a fast, 1GHz, Snapdragon CPU via Qualcomm plus a well specified, built in camera of 5-megapixels.
There are no current price details available, at the moment.
