Samsung is planning to launch a new mobile phone with a clamshell form factor that resembles Nokia's 6600 Fold handset.
The new Samsung design is yet to be officially announced but will be known as the S5510. Featuring a hidden external display, the new phone will include a reasonably sized screen spanning 2.1in and packing in a QVGA resolution within the internal display. The same screen also has the ability to display 16 million colours. For fast data delivery, the phone will feature a 3G facility. Other features will include Bluetooth, an MP3 player and FM radio for entertainment purposes plus a built in camera that will support 3.2-megapixels and video recording. The S5510 will also include 30MB of internal memory and MicroSD card support, according to the Ubergizmo website.
The Samsung S5510 should be available to buy during late-October or early November for €200.
