More details have appeared on the new HTC Leo - the mobile design that will, reportedly, replace the current HTC Touch Pro phone.
According to the WMExperts website which has, apparently, seen and used an early model of the Leo, the phone performs well in the hand, despite being a large phone and will arrive with a display offering a video resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. Reports say that, while no TV Out or digital compass is included, the phone does come with a 1,230 mAh battery.
Intriguingly, one of the reported new features for the Leo is that the handset will act as a USB host. This means that the phone will be able to independently support a range of USB-related devices whilst on the move.
Other features for the handset include a fast, 1GHz Snapdragon, CPU, a graphic resolution, within the touchscreen, of 480 x 800 pixels plus 320MB of RAM and Windows Mobile 6.5 support. It's currently unknown whether a microSD card is included.
No distribution or price details were available but rumours suggest a possible release next month.
