The much rumoured, cut-down, LG Chocolate, the BL20, the little brother to the larger and better specificied BL40, has only just appeared in a promotional video. Now, it has received an official specification list after being placed upon the LG website.
The mid-priced phone is based on GSM / GPRS / EDGE 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz connectivity with high speed data transfer supplied via UMTS / HSDPA at 900 / 2100 MHz. The display spans 2.4in while packing into the TFT screen a QVGA resolution, showing 262K colours. Based upon an ARM9 CPU, the phone includes a 5-megapixel, built in, camera that features autofocus, flash and video recording while supported RAM memory is just 128MB. However, an associated microSD card will enable you to increase that to 16GB.
Measuring 106.9 x 50.8 x 12.3mm and weighing in at 115g, the new phone will be out before the end of the year. No price was revealed, however.
