A new application for the iPhone 3GS is hoping to take advantage of the thousands of people who set up their mobile office in a coffee shop, library or co-working space. WorkSnug is a free app that advises users on where they can get a free Wi-Fi spot, plenty of power outputs and even a good cappuccino. By holding up their iPhone 3GS, users will find potential destinations that hover alongside real-life, real-time images of the users' environment using the handsets digital compass. Users can read reviews of particular mobile office spaces, and even post their own.
Stating the noise levels of particular destinations, WorkSnug is working alongside Bluetooth headset specialists Plantronics with optional links to a website where users can purchase their latest products.
WorkSnug will soon be available for free from the Apple App Store with an Android application expected to follow.
