Sony Ericsson's new Xperia X3 Rachael has, apparently, been unboxed in Germany and widely distributed images of the occasion have been taken for posterity.
If the unboxing is of the actual Rachael mobile phone then this confirms how close the phone is to release. The unboxed handset is presented in white, although it is believed that a black version of the design will be made available too, according to the Phandroid website.
The Xperia X3 Rachael will be Sony Ericsson's first Android mobile phone and will be fully featured to boot. It will include a high speed, 1GHZ, Snapdragon CPU via Qualcomm, a 4in display presented in a WVGA resolution, a 3.5mm headphone socket for all you music fans out there and a built in camera rated at a very healthy 8-megapixels.
The Xperia X3 Rachael is slated to be released during January 2010.
