Following the early year headphone releases from the likes of Nokia and Jabra, Sony Ericsson has now released details of a new type of headphone product for use with mobile phones that senses the motion of the user.
The idea is that you listen to your music by placing the earbuds into your ear - that's it. To pause your music you just remove one of the earbuds. You can answer and stop phone calls in a similar fashion.
"With the MH907 consumers can pocket their phone but still stay connected all day, every day by simply plugging in or removing their earbuds - there is no need for a remote control or any buttons." said Jacob Sten, Senior Vice President, SEMC Accessories.
The SE MH907 will be compatible with most Sony Ericsson phones that feature a fast port connector. The headphones weigh only 25.32g and will be available in the fourth quarter of this year, in either Titan Chrome or Yellow/White.
