We got hands-on with the Motorola DEXT at last nights official launch, and we must say we were rather impressed. Only time will tell whether it's enough to reignite the manufacturer's fortunes, but from the five minutes we got to play with the phone we wouldn't bet against it. Centred around social networking, the DEXT runs on Google's Android platform meaning users will have access to plenty of applications to pimp up their phone.
Available in early October, the Motorola DEXT will be exclusive to Orange on a 24 month contract at £34.26 per month. This will include 900 any network call minutes, unlimited texts, and unlimited GPS use and anytime internet browsing means you'll be able to surf until your heart's content. Well, at least until the fair usage policy runs out. The Motorola DEXT will be available online and from Orange shops and Telesales.
