Like a phoenix from the flames Motorola are making somewhat of a comeback and without meaning to jump the gun, we're starting to drool. We knew the Motorola DEXT was coming, but now we have more details including the news that this handset will be the first to showcase MOTOBLUR, Motorola's unique solution for its Android portfolio. MOTOBLUR is all about having your social life readily available from your home screen. Merging all your social site updates, the Happenings application delivers all feeds and updates direct to your home screen allowing you to reply quickly and easily no matter what social networking site they come from. Users will also be able to respond to any messages whether texts or emails from the Messages application in any format they wish, be it text, email or IM. Contact information will be automatically updated should any of your contacts change numbers or addresses, while MOTOBLUR will back up any content you have saved should you lose your phone.
As for the DEXT itself, well it features a QWERTY slide-out keyboard, touch-screen, five-megapixel camera, HSDPA and Wi-Fi, GPS and of course access to the Google Android market. The Motorola DEXT will be available exclusively on Orange in time for Christmas and we for one are pretty darn excited.
