Nokia has announced that its ongoing work on its own instant messaging utility has reached version 2.0 within the beta testing format.
The utility was initially launched for the Nokia E75 back in June of this year. According to the development team at Nokia: 'You can stay in contact with your friends across multiple communities, easily switch between and save conversations and login invisibly. We continue to add support for more devices and communities in all parts of Nokia Messaging.'
The ongoing developments of the utility have expanded its compatibility over additional mobile platforms. For example, the new application now arrives with support for two other Nokia smartphones: the E71 and E63. Nokia Messaging IM 2.0 Beta also adds support for Google Talk.
If you want to investigate the upgraded utility you can download the software direct from the Beta Labs website, where you can also view an accompanying video.
