Forget the iPhone, recently snared by the combined powers of T-Mobile and Orange - Vodafone UK will be the exclusive carrier of three new business-meets-consumer smartphones - the Sony Ericsson Xperia X2, Nokia's E72 and LG's first Windows device, the GM750.
The Xperia X2 launches in October and is the followup to the Windows Mobile 6.1 smartphone Xperia X1. The X2 runs on WinMo 6.5 though, one of the first phones to launch with the updated operating system. It'll be exclusive to Voda till 31 December.
We saw a pre-review of the E72 a while back - this sequel to the super successful pro-sumer email demon E71 (and last year's Phone of the Year at the Mobile Choice Consumer Awards) will be another top notch email device with Nokia Messaging and of course, the excellent Nokia Maps. Also exclusive to Voda till 31 December.
Finally, the GW520 runs on WinMo 6.5, and is billed as a social networking device with integrated Facebook, Twitter, and IM plus great email functionality thanks to easy syncing with Microsoft Outlook and a slideout QWERTY.
Preregister to own these handsets at the Vodafone UK shop.
