The iPhone's number one paid-for application has just got that much better. ALK's CoPilot Live has received its first update that is both free and automatic – so current users can just kick back and let the magic happen.
The update will bring a number of improvements to the service including speed camera alerts, the ability to dial a point of interest directly from within the app, along with improved GPS performance. In addition, the updated CoPilot will automatically resume after each phone call, whereas before you would have to re-fire the software once the call had ended.
All the other features that have made CoPilot Live so popular remain, including turn-by-turn voice guidance and 3D street maps across the UK and Ireland. Using the iPhone's internet connection, 'Live' services including weather reports and location-sharing services are also available with traffic info, fuel prices and Live local search also available for an additional cost.
CoPilot Live is available for the iPhone from the Apple App Store for £25.99 or for a Pan-Europe version for £59.99.
