LG and Vodafone have just announced a new mobile phone based upon the Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system.
It is unknown, at this time, if the new handset is one of the three new Windows Mobile 6.5 models just announced by LG. However, this new design, known as the GM750, is due for release in the UK on October 6th.
Seen by observers as an upgrade to the current GM730, the new design offers users a 3in touchscreen display that packs in 480 x 800 pixels, Wi-Fi for wireless connections to the Internet, 3G for fast data transfer, Microsoft My Phone, Windows Live plus a well specificed, built in, 5MP camera. The phone will overlay LG's own S-Class 3D user interface over the top of the Windows Mobile 6.5 OS.
The GM750 will be exclusive to Vodafone and will also be released in other markets such as Germany, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Greece and France.
