Samsung Corby formerly announced

The new Samsung Corby S3650 mobile phone has been formerly announced

We've already seen a range of images and heard details of the new Samsung Corby. We've even seen live images of the new design. Now, the Corby receives its official release via the company, which declared that it is "...a mobile phone designed to support the digitally connected lifestyles of today's young mobile users."

As such, the Corby features a touchscreen that spans 2.8in with a QVGA resolution and direct access to Twitter, MySpace and Facebook, according to the Akihabara News website. The Corby also includes quad-band GSM connectivity plus an accelerometer to move the screen from portrait to landscape mode and then back again. You also get Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP to support wireless accessories such as headsets and a stereo FM radio for entertainment. A basic, 2-megapixel, camera is built in along with microSD card support to enhance the built in memory.

The Corby is nothing if not colourful, arriving in suitably exaggerated schemes. So yellow isn't just yellow its Jamaican Yellow. That's accompanied by Festival Orange, Minimal White and Cupid Pink.
