Nokia launches affordable Comes With Music touch-screen 5230

Ooh, Nokia World countdown starts. Just after yesterday's announcement of the first laptop to come from a phone manufacturer, Nokia launches the 5230, the latest to its touch range. The 5230 is an affordable all-rounder with music player, a camera of unspecified resolution, and sat nav features including A-GPS and Nokia's top maps service, Ovi Maps. Music is the main feature here though, with the happy inclusion of that all-important 3.5mm audio jack.

Nokia's Ovi Store for apps, music and ringtones is one-click accessible, and the device has a media bar for shortcuts to your favourite media and apps. A new Contacts bar for your favourites makes it a little like the HTC Hero and Palm Pre and pulls together all communication history - emails, calls, photos, texts and social media updates. And as one of the music range, the 5230 can also be purchased with a subscription to Comes With Music, Nokia's all you can eat music download service. (Check out our review of Comes With Music here)

Standalone price €149; with Comes With Music subscription €259. The Nokia 5230 is expected to ship in Q4.
