Samsung Corby's first live images

The first live images of the new Samsung S3650 Corby have appeared along with a brand new handset that appears to be targeted at the music lover, according to the Ubergizmo website.

To recap, the new S3650 Corby - which remains unannounced as yet - has quad-band GSM connectivity with GPRS and EDGE and will arrive with a 2.8-inch QVGA touch-screen display. Other features will include Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP for the attachment of wireless accessories plus a MP3 player and FM radio for entertainment. The phone, which spans 103x57x13mm and weighs 92g, also arrives with a microSD card slot to expand the internal memory.

Newly revealed details include the welcome news that the Corby may be even cheaper than the previously forecast €200, possibly as low as €100, which would make it one of the cheapest touch-screen phones on the market.

The other unannounced phone, the Samsung M2520, is a music-oriented slider. Featuring quad-band GSM connectivity, it also includes Bluetooth. There are no details on price or distribution yet, however.
