HTC is expecting to vastly increase its revenues as it looks forward to the imminent release of both of its Mega and Click mobile phones.
HTC is due to release both the Mega and Click handsets during the fourth quarter of this year, although some observers are saying that an October release is likely. The prices for both handsets, according to the DigiTimes website, look to be around the £180 figure which would mean that both would be well positioned to compete aggressively in the mid-price market as HTC targets a 19% rise in shipments.
The HTC Mega is reported to be based on the Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system and will support both GSM and HSDPA file transfer standards. GPS, for location finding, a 3-megapixel camera plus a screen of 2.8in QVGA will be supported.
The Click, on the other hand, is still keeping its details close to its chest.
There are no UK release details at the moment.
