New images of the Blackberry Storm 2 have been leaked on to the Internet, adding to those seen in the recently released video, with a Vodafone logo attached.
Also known as the 9520 or Odin, the new mobile phone was snapped over in Germany. That particular model was due to work on Germany's own 3G network. The principle difference between the original and the new version of the Storm is the addition of Wi-Fi. The new image of the Storm 2 was spotted running Blackberry's own operating system, version 126.96.36.199.
The new Storm 2 will feature other upgrades from the initial version. Highlights see the inclusion of the replacement of the Surepress screen with a capacitive version. Other released specifications include GSM/EDGE plus HSDPA, a 3.2-megapixel camera, a screen packing in 320x240 pixels. The release date has yet to be confirmed but it is summised that an early 2010 date is likely although some obersvers say that this October is a possibility.
