Further specifications have been revealed for LG's forthcoming mobile phone, the eagerly anticipated Chocolate BL40.
Despite the fact that LG has officially announced the new mobile, that doesn't mean that all of the new phone's specifications have been revealed. Since the official launch, more information has been made available that has helped to fill in numerous gaps. Yes, we know that the phone includes a large, 4in touchscreen display that packs in 800 x 345 pixels and has an impressive 21:9 aspect ratio. We also know that the chassis will include a 5MP camera with a Schneider-Kreuznach lens and flash.
However, we have now had confirmation that the BL40 will include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and, for fast data transfers, HSDPA. It also appears that a 3.5mm headphone socket will be included which will be great news for music fans. Most recently, a built-in FM transmitter was cleared for use in the Chocolate handset too, according to the Dailyradar website. That still means that the internal RAM and processor information is still missing, however.
The LG Chocolate BL40 will begin shipping in Q3 of this year, though no pricing information has yet been made available.
