Orange has unveiled a host of new monthly price plans for their mobile broadband range. The Monthly Tariff for Under £5, actually only costs the customer £4.89 per month and is available to all existing prepay, pay monthly and home broadband Orange customers. Available on an 18 month contract, customers will be allowed up to 500MB data usage per month with download speeds of up to 3.6Mbps, while Orange is also including a free Huawei E160e dongle, available in black, white or pink. This dongle can also be used as a memory stick to save any photos, music or films.
The Early Bird Tariff is available in three variants and provides customers with unlimited mobile broadband between midnight and 9am. Starting at just £13 per month, the tariffs are for twelve months and come with a data allowance of 1GB, 3GB or 10GB.
Orange is also launching new software that alerts customers to when they are approaching their usage threshold. Available to all new and existing Orange mobile broadband customers, the software can be downloaded for free from www.orange.co.uk/updates. A monthly bill cap will also mean customers won't ever be charged more than an extra £40 a month if they accidentally go over their monthly data allowance whilst using their dongle in the UK.
