Samsung has announced a new mobile phone that will be able to feature two SIM cards.
The new handset is to be known as the C3212 DuoS and will be presented within a simple candybar chassis. Little is known about the new design except for the fact that the mobile features two SIMs (like the LG KS660 and Samsung's own D988). This feature is ideal - especially in these times of people owning multiple handsets - because the dual SIM option means that you can leave that spare phone at home. It also means that you can have two numbers: one for home, another for work. In addition, you can take advantage of two great deals from two different suppliers at once.
Observers have judged that the facilities of the new phone are pretty basic so the C3212 should not feature 3G, for example or a high performance camera, according to the Ubergizmo website.
Expect to see the phone appear in the Russian market first, this Summer, but enter other European territories later in the year. Price is expected to be around €136.
