We recently brought you details of the proposed smaller brother to Nokia's N97 mobile phone which, at least for now, is being referred to as the N97 Mini. Now, more information has been revealed about the new design that manages to fill in a few gaps.
According to the Unwired website, the new design will be announced at the forthcoming Nokia World 09 show which is due to take place in Stuttgart, Germany on September 2nd to the 3rd.
The leaked details for the new Mini include a 2.9in touchscreen packing in 16 million colours and with a 640 x 360 pixel resolution to boot. Part of the size reduction of the chassis has been achieved, say observers, by dropping the N97's navigation button. A proposed price has still to be confirmed but reports say that the smaller Mini should cost around €100 cheaper than its big brother.
