Low-end specialists Alcatel has introduced its first touch-screen phone to its portfolio. Fitting comfortably in the palm of your hand the Alcatel OT-708 Touch is operated via the phones 2.4-inch display, with a host of widgets including weather, news, clock and music player, the phone is also capable of handling email, instant messaging, video player and video recorder.
In another operator exclusive, Alcatel has joined forces with Orange to unveil the OT-363. Sporting a clamshell design the OT-363 dons a glossy red exterior with a black interior keypad. Weighing in at just 90 grams, the phone also comes with a camera and radio all for the paltry price of £19.99.
The Alcatel OT-708 Touch will be available on a Vodafone Pay As You Go tariff for £49.99 from September, while the Alcatel OT-363 will be available on Orange prepay for £19.99 from later this month.
