Anyone with an Apple iPhone 3GS or an old iPhone that has been updated to the 3.0 operating system can now read the Financial Times from their handset. As well as being able to read the FT's news and analysis, users will also be privy to unique market data and a currency converter.
By turning the handset into a landscape position, a global map will be displayed showing the changing stock figures around the world. In addition, as all articles are automatically stored in the iPhone's memory, users will be able to continue reading the articles even when offline.
The Financial Times application is available for free from Apple's App Store on the iPhone or even for the iPod touch as www.itunes.com/appstore.
