Reuters is reporting that LG is launching its own application store tomorrow. According to the news agency, the "LG Application Store" will initially be launched with 1,400 applications including 100 free programs, available in 15 different languages. However, before we all get too excited, Reuters also claims that the online store will initially be launched in Asia-Pacific countries such as Singapore, Malaysia and Australia.
As for us here in Blighty? Well it seems that we, along with the rest of Europe will have to wait until the end of the year when the number of applications is expected to reach 2,000.
Both LG and Samsung are coming under increasing pressure to join the application revolution, as Nokia, Apple, HTC and Palm embrace third party applications.
