More information has finally arrived that reveals the essential specifications for the new BlackBerry Storm 2
We already heard BlackBerry's confirmation that it is working on the new Storm 2 mobile phone last May. Then, at the end of that month, we saw the first images of the new phone. Now, the first set of specifications for the design has reached us.
The new Storm 2 will feature a variety of upgrades from the initial version. Highlights see the inclusion of Wi-Fi and the replacement of the Surepress screen with a capacitive version, says the BGR website.
Other released specifications include GSM/EDGE plus HSDPA, a 3.2-megapixel camera, a screen packing in 320x240 pixels and version 5.0 of the BlackBerry operating system.
The release date has yet to be confirmed but it is summised that an early 2010 date is likely with, say observers, Vodafone favourite to gain the exclusive rights.
