Following the announcement of the new Chocolate phone, the latest in the Black Label Series of handsets, LG has now announced another new design but, this time, targeting the budget market. The LG GW300 is designed to be a low cost messaging phone, the mobile is being targeted for those who are regular Facebook users and who enjoy regular emailing. In fact, clients for both will be built in.
In a welcome relief from all the Series 4 Chocolate teasing, LG has, this time, given us some solid specifications. The GW300 will arrive with a 2.4in QVGA screen packing in 240x320 pixels. Although only supporting a relatively slow 2.5G GSM / EDGE, the 95g chassis also holds stereo Bluetooth and a USB 2.0 port, according to the Cellphones Techfresh website.
A camera is included but its specification is unknown at the moment. Observers believe that it's a 3.2-megapixel design.
Pricing and availability information has yet to be revealed.
