James Bond eat your heart out. Orange customers will soon be able to make and receive calls via their wristwatch. The operator has got exclusive rights to the LG Watch Phone that features a built-in speaker, full touch-screen interface as well as HSDPA connectivity to surf the net and video calling capabilities.
The LG Watch Phone is expected to begin being sold in UK stores from August with Orange having the exclusive rights for a limited time only. The Watch Phone will be available either on Orange pay as you go or SIM only with a selling price touted as being around £1,000.
Orange claims the Watch Phone is just the first of a host of innovative 'future phones' we can expect in the next 18 months. Sounds intriguing.
