The HTC Hero - or G1 Touch if you're a T-Mobile customer - has been formally announced but we've just received the accompanying images which provides a unique and rather interesting comparative take on its immediate competition in both size and form, showing how well balanced the large screen is with the finger rest area at the base.
In addition to the images we have also received additional information on the mobile itself, which is coated in Teflon - an industry first. For example, the phone will be powered by a 528Mhz CPU and will include a gravity sensor. It will also feature a micro SD slot to expand the internal memory.
The new handset will also, according to the Crunchgear website, include a dedicated and advanced Search button that reminds us of the advanced search option found in Microsoft's Vista operating system. That is, the Hero search allows you to search through Twitter, locate people in your contact list, find email in your inbox or search in any other area in Hero.
