We told you earlier how the HTC Hero would initially be available to both T-Mobile and Orange, well both have wasted no time in announcing what the price will be to get your hands on one of these bad boys, with T-Mobile rebranding the handset as the T-Mobile G1 Touch.
The T-Mobile G1 Touch will be available from July for free on T-Mobile's Flext tariff from £40 per month on an 18 month contract, which the operator states equates to £225 to spend on UK and international calls and texts, picture messages, 08 numbers, voicemail and unlimited (fair use policy - obviously) internet browsing. The T-Mobile G1 Touch will be available in an exclusive black colour and becomes the operator's second Google Android device after the T-Mobile G1.
Meanwhile, Orange has exclusive rights over a 'graphite' version of the phone which will be available on a longer 24 month contract, but still remaining free on a £39.15 per month contract. This package includes 1200 any network call minutes, unlimited texts, as well as inclusive anytime internet browsing.
