T-Mobile UK has announced the forthcoming launch of a new Android-based mobile phone which will serve as the successor to the current Android handset release - the G1, the very first Android design ever to appear in the UK market. To be known as the G1 Touch, the new design was announced via T-Mobile's official Twitter account in a blaze of abbreviated glory.
This new announcement should not, however, be confused with the new Android phone currently being released in the USA via T-Mobile USA. That particular phone is based on the familiar HTC Magic which, over here, is already supplied via Vodafone. No, the newly announced UK device is a little more mysterious and nothing is known about it. T-Mobile has not even let slip a release date. However, we will be sure to pass on any new information when we get it.
